New Year's Eve - Bold Lips Please

I'm Back! Sorry it has been so long but I am back and back for good! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and now it is time for new year! Let's get the party started! To us ladies and some men what we wear and look like on that night is very important. I am most likely going to wear a dress however it is the make up look I worry about most. It will be the last night of 2014 so therefore I've got to wear a bold lip at least, so here are a few of my contenders....

So what's what?

First- From my Bobbi Brown date night lip and eye pallet the darker shade of the two lipsticks  (berry punch) It is a perfect mix of pink and purple which I love and I have no other lipstick like it. The product has a creamy and moisturising consistency which makes it comfortable to wear however needs touching up during the night while eating and drinking and is a pain for me as it is in a pallet and I need a brush to apply it. 

Then- Ted Bakers crayon in red, I am obsessed with lip crayons as they are so easy to carry around, put in your handbag and apply on the go. Ted Baker does the best ones in my opinion, so much so I feature 2 in this blog post! This is the perfect red lip, the colour is bold and makes a statement and the product itself is creamy and smooth applying. Once on you lips you do not need to re apply for a good few hours after. The same has to be said about my other Ted Baker lip crayon in a deep purple. Sometimes I think dark purple lips look a bit gothic and just do not suit me but I can never go wrong when I reach for this one. You can easily build up the colour and on the other side of things you can also make it more subtle. 

Maybelline color sensational in 240 Galactic Mauve. I have never had a lipstick quite like this. It is a balmy texture however is long lasting and has a lot of lipstick properties to it. The colour is unusual which I love. I would say it is a dusky purple with golden/rusty coloured shimmer, very golden goddess in my opinion. 

And finally a new release, seventeen lip crayon. I got this from my friend for Christmas and I must say I am most impressed. This is the longest lasting lipstick out of all the products mentioned today. It is a beautiful bright pink with blue under toned shimmer which is great and helps teeth to look whiter. Sits very comfortably on the lips and feels nourishing. 

So which one do I wear?

ted baker deep purple, bobbi brown berry punch lip color.- RIGHT
