Current Evening Skin Care Routine

I think having a skin care routine is important as it helps to cleanse my face after a long day and also it keeps my face looking fresh and spot free. Another reason I love having a skin care routine is because it allows me to try out a load of new products and it helps me to see what products work on my skin and also what ones do not. I have been using all these products in the same order for approximately 1 month now and my skin has improved. I would recommend all of them to people with sensitive and normal skin, my skin is slightly sensitive and none of them have given me any irritation. So here is my Current Evening Skin Care Routine:

Firstly I start off my removing my make up with the Garnier micellar cleansing water, I find that it is very similar to bioderma however much cheaper which is excellent! It is perfume free and suitable for all skin types as it says on the bottle.

Then I use the simple vital vitamin foaming cleanser, it is very good to help remove any make up or dirt that may be on my face still and it does so nicely and gently.

After I have definitely got rid of all my make up off my face I then use my No7 beautiful skin cleansing brush with the botanics cleansing facial wash. The brush exfoliates and deeply cleanses my skin making it feel twice as clean, soft and radiant.

The next thing I do I only do it 2-3 times a week. I always have face masks in my bathroom therefore will pick out which ever one I would like to use. This is the one thing I change most often. My face masks at the moment are from H & M and are really good as they all have different purposes.

Finally I finish off by moisturising using the simple kind to skin moisturiser all over my face and a little down my neck and the simple soothing eye balm under my eyes to reduce redness and puffiness that may occur in the morning.

And that is my Current Evening Skin Care Routine :)

What products do you use for your skin care routine?
Any recommendations?

End Of The Travelling Series? What Is Next?

Hiya everyone!

As you may know over the summer I did a bit of travelling around Europe visiting Berlin, Budapest, Rome and Pompeii. For the last every other post I've written about one of the places. Sharing a lot of photographs with you all and my personal opinions of the place. Now this whole travelling series has to finish somewhere however I have seen a lot of people enjoying them and who have found my posts interesting therefore I do not want to stop yet however I have not got any other travelling content for you.

So I have come up with a plan...

When I started my blog I was planning on it being a make up and fashion blog but what I have found is actually I have had great interest in other types of blog posts too. Therefore I am planning on maybe changing things up a little bit. For all you girly girls out there do not worry because there will still be make up reviews, fashion trends and current beauty favourites however every other blog post will be something different. And for more travellers, cooks and general life stuff there will be blog posts for all of you. This then means there is a bit for everyone and also it gives me a variety of things to talk and blog about therefore I will not hopefully ever be stuck for blog post ideas.

I will try this out for a bit and will see if you like it and if I like it too and it may stick however if it does not work we can go back.

Hope you are all having a great day!

A Day In Pompeii

When we went to Pompeii it was so hot! It was about 34 degrees therefore we did not stay that long in the little town however we still did get a good look and feel of the place.

This is what would of been the theatre back then
Here is the village town centre, not much there now but when it was a town and
full of people there would have been markets, shops and take away food stores

Street view
Here is a takeaway place... very different to what
ours are like today! No burger king! More like
meat, stew and vegetables which would of been
kept warm in the bowls you can see in this picture^

In Pompeii they also had a gladiatorial arena where gladiators would fight each other in front of large crowds.
   Over head view of Pompeii.

Sorry this blog post was not as full and exciting as any of the other travelling posts but this is because we did not actually spend a full day there... To make up for it if you have not seen of my other 'A Day In...' posts then be sure to go and check them out! Links down below.

My Blogging Essentials

Here I will be sharing with you guys all my blogging essentials.

So firstly you will want to have a laptop or computer... I use the samsung chromebook, It helps me to create my blog and make my blog how I want it and that is with the help of blogger.

This is the SONY a200
Then you will need some pictures to put on your blog so another one of my essentials is a camera...

I have 3 and use all of them for different types of photography and photos.
First up is the daddy camera, I use this the least often out of the 3 because it is so big it is sometimes to bulky to be carrying around all the time.

Then the one I use the most is my little canon IXUS 500 HS. I love how it is so small and compact however the quality of the photos are the same quality as if I were using a bigger camera!

Then my final camera is actually just my IPhone 5C. It can produce quite good photos therefore if I am out and need to capture an image for my blog and do not have any other camera's I will just use that...

Next up is a notebook and pen! I keep one with me at all times! If I suddenly come up with a good blog post idea I will write it down... Also if I find some inspiration I can record it in my little notebook.

Also another thing that is an essential for me when I am writing blog posts is MUSIC! I find it helps me to concentrate therefore I can get the job done easier and quicker. It is so boring just sitting in silence just listening to the keys on your laptop tapping away!

And finally some kind of beverage and possibly a snack to keep you going.

So these are my blogging essentials... What are yours?

A Day In Rome

Another blog post in my travelling series!

Now lets hit ROME!

So we started the day by going to the Vatican and spent a lot of time there admiring it...

looking down on the church

To get into the Vatican you have to be dressed appropriately: NO HATS, NO MINI SKIRTS, NO SHORTS, NO SLEEVELESS TOPS.

We climbed 551 stairs to get to the top of St Peter's dome.... and got these amazing views...

Everywhere we looked there was a different and more extraordinary breath taking view

This has to be one of my favourite pictures I captured. Rome and the Vatican City in all  its glory!

WOW!

Then next up the Colosseum. It
took an awfully long time to queue but anyway once we got in it was well worth it!

We also passed the Rome Parliament Building

I love all the tall buildings in the streets of Rome...

After walking through a few streets we found this... It was like a little city centre filled with fountains, restaurants, cafes, a statue, happy people and music.

And that's all I have for you today... Unfortunately the Trevi Fountain was having some constructive work done to it while we were there but that did not matter too much as we had lots of other amazing things to see and explore!

Have you been to Rome?
What did you see?

The British Tag

I have been wanting to do the British tag for a very long time so today I thought it would be a fun little post for you all to enjoy! LET'S DO IT...

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? + How many sugars?
I have about 3 cups a day and with no sugars.

2. Favourite part of your roast?
Umm... this is a hard one! I love the yorkshire puddings however I do also love the roasted vegetables and bread sauce!

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?

Its got to be the good old chocolate digestive but sometimes I like to change things up and go for a malted milk.

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

Going to the seaside and getting fish and chips to eat on the beach.

5. Favourite word?

Don't ask me why but I use the word 'cheeky' all the time so I guess that is probably my favourite word!

6. Cockney rhyme slang?
I think I use it without even realising to be honest... for example going up the 'apples and pears' (stairs) and 'It's raining cat's and dog's' (It is raining hard/a lot).

7. Favourite sweet?

To be honest I prefer chocolate to sweets but anyway my favourite sweet is probably jelly babies!

8. What would your pub be called?
I would have to include something to do with my love of travelling into the name...

9. No.1 British person?

Kate Middleton - The Duchess of Cambridge, she seems so lovely and has great fashion sense... Also Prince George is awfully cute!

10. Favourite shop / restaurant?

I love boots, its got all my beauty essentials and needs! I could spend all day shopping in there! Also I love John Lewis, there Christmas displays are always stunning and always get me in the festive Christmas mood.

11. What British song pops into your head?
S Club 7 - Bring it all back!

12. Marmite.
HATE!

I tag everyone!
