When we went to Pompeii it was so hot! It was about 34 degrees therefore we did not stay that long in the little town however we still did get a good look and feel of the place.

full of people there would have been markets, shops and take away food stores |

Here is a takeaway place... very different to what
ours are like today! No burger king! More like
meat, stew and vegetables which would of been
kept warm in the bowls you can see in this picture^
